FAO all Calderwood Dental Patients re Coronavirus / Covid 19
In light of recent developments I want to reassure all of our patients that, unless we are advised otherwise, our dental practice will remain open and safe to attend.
Given our routine exceptional standards in cross infection control and hygiene, we are doing all we can to minimise spread of the virus while enabling us to provide safe dental care.
As per usual all clinical areas and instruments are impeccably cleaned after each course of treatment, and where appropriate we endeavour to use “single use” equipment.
Additional measures are being taken including:
- asking patients to use hand gels provided when attending the practice
- where possible make payments by card as opposed to cash
- if feasible attend alone for appointments
- verbally updating paperwork / consent to minimise contact
While the changing nature of this situation may impact some of our patients and staff, we are proactively planning for every contingency to minimise any disruption.
